Wait till next week-end. My 140 mailed to NSC on 11th April (why?? not sure) and received RN from texas. ND was dated 19th April. RD was 13th April.
Now # of applications are more so it can take more time but your RD will be maintained.

The issue is not with desi consultants. It is with those companies who game the system and take advantage of workers from India. If you believe that the petition filed by your company is legit, then it is all good - you will never have to worry about any audit or RFE.
As I have said before, the problem arises when some companies file petitions when there isn't an immediate job offer. They often take money from the H-1B worker to file the petition and not pay them when they are on bench - making them vulnerable to USCIS audits. In my view this is bad for the H-1B program and everybody who is involed, and it should be investigated by the USCIS.
Now, there may not be many who do this - but a few bad apples have certainly given the rest of us a bad name.

Problem was ours (EB2 & EB3) and we fought together until EB2&EB3 dates were retrogressed.Now the problem is only for EB3s so EB3s only have to come forward and work for ourselves. Thank you Sir...

You can start helping yourself by becoming a regular donor to IV. That's $25 a month. Imagine 11,000 odd EB people becoming regular donors. Maybe, IV can then run a regular ad in major news network, explaining our plight.

is actually related to quota listed in INA Sec. 203. [8 U.S.C. 1153] a - 2. (family quota)

This is good idea. But Family GC's have a wait queue of 10-15 years. Only immediate family members of Citizens does not have queue.

You are seeing it from a complete 180 degrees than I see it. It's not us who's discriminating, it is the laws which are discriminating. I am asking them to treat us all equal, I entered the country on an H1B which was an employement based application it did not hav any country quota, then why should green cards for EB have country quota. Why should a person from India wait for 10 year and a person from Romania get it in 1 year....I think your ROW friends shold understand our position.

If we see the history H1B and GC numbers were never increased except 2004 20k inpast 15 years In 2000 it was increasd temporarlily for 4 years.Also EB numbers were never increased except temporary reliefs.If it is increased by Skill bill in current form that is really an acheivement. If there is a possiblity they may increase H1B because that is temorary visa(But in reallity not) and GC numbers may remain same. But if increased to 115k then also cap will be reached in another 1 month because there are more number of Desi companies than number of H1Bs. Thats why they are asking exemptions for MS people and 20% adjustment for every year. We have to wait and see whether congress fall on this trap to do this without analysing the impact.

If I simplify the whole attitude of IV members; it would be "EB3 is hopeless; EB2 doesn't need any help".
The way the whole EB GC stands now, EB2 folks do not need any additional help. The dates are moving relatively fast. In a year or two most of the EB2 folks will get GC. So why spend money and time in IV efforts?
As far as EB3 folks are considered, we have no hope. CIR is dead; piecemeal efforts are opposed by CHC. IV has never shown much interest in piecemeal efforts, despite the fact that what ever little efforts have resulted in enormous positive results.

If anyone's I140 is pending at NSC, they thinks otherwise. You will feel other lanes are fast except one which you are. :D it's humane nature and It's ok to vent. you will feel better.;)

Thanks for the update. Beginning from S. 1932 last year, we have been riding an extremely rough roller coaster. We are all sick of politics. I personally feel nothing much might be accomplished this year. A lot is at stake for politicians if they take any position. Thus dragging the issue and dealing with it next year seems to be their only option. It is a bad sign for lots of legal immigrants who have been anxiously waiting all this while. If at all anything can happen, it will only be due to initiative from the President. Or if President signs a emergency bill giving relief to outstanding, highly educated people who have been in line. This option maybe a daydream but will keep us optimistic until November this year. Sorry for sounding pessimistic.

I'm no senior member, but I would guess your red dot to be a feature of the software running this forum. Depending on the number of posts (50,100 etc), it changes.

It is easier said than done. When you are entering you are at the discretion of IO and you do not know all the laws. In this particular case, the people tried to convince IO that they were planning to let canada PR go once they receive US GC but the IO was determined to revoke their AOS. So there is nothing really you can do at that point in time.
I agree, I can't put everything on stake to get canadian PR which I am not sure if I will use later or not.
