Congrats to 12/2004 PD holders.
Unfortunatly for me and my wife, it appears we will be missing this window of opportunity. Just happened to have filed an AP for her. F&$k USCIS:mad:
Hardly an hour passed by when I got email from CRIS saying " welcome ..." reminding me of Eagles song "welcome to hotel california ...", this was the very song, I heard for first time while waiting for TOFEL exam in summer of 1999 in Delhi. Oh... such a wonderful place.
Guys ... kismet changes!

DOS and USCIS are slow. But it would be really helpful if the IV code team can provide some update on our site. I believe over 2.5 hours have passed since the last update regarding some update in 1 hour. I guess we can't do anything if it takes more time but an update always helps! Thank you.
given that u have just joined the group, let me say welcome aboard...
u made a wise decision to join this effort.. however regretfully I beg to defer , for you to be too quick to ask questions or updates and be more patient..
please aks yourself..what did u do for IV....what can u expect...
if u are a very active member and did contribute to IV, please accept my apologies

What your lawyer says in incorrect. I have had my visa stamped successfully only for 3 months validity in the past. Even this time I have only 2 months left (until Feb 2008) but am still going for stamping. So do not worry. As long as you have one more day left, you can get it stamped. Good luck.
I would very much appreciate if I could get your input in the following situation.
I have plans to travel on 7th Dec but am still waiting for my AP. The AP was aproved on 6th Nov along with my spouse's AP on the same date. He got his AP (thru lawyer) about 10 days back, but I did not receive it. Chances look bleak that I will get AP before 4th Dec (by which date I need to cancel my tickets to get a refund). However, I have a I-797 which is valid till Mar 2008. I wanted to use that to get H1 stamping in India, but when I spoke to my Lawyer, I was told that I cannot do so beacuse the 797 is expiring in 3 months.
If you have a recent experience of getting H1 stamped with your I797 expiring in a few months please do reply.

Thanks for your feedback..won't you think column 15 in lc won't help? it mentioned as 'Will accept any suitable combination of Education , training or expeirence in lieu of stated requirements'. I also submitted an educational evaluation...
Column 15
Travel and/or relocation required
*compluter Applications, Computer Information Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Mathematcis, Physics or its foriegn Education Equivalent. Will accept any suitable combination of Education , training or expeirence in lieu of stated requirements.
There is a high possibility that you will get an RFE and you will need to reply for the RFE.
Service centers does not consider three year degree course from India as degree equivalent from here. They want minimum four year degree. This may upset you. You may need to talk with your Attorney and look for an alternative to stay in US.

I'm understanding now and thanks but I still didn't understand why a guy from EB3 ROW with PD March 2004 is receiving now I-485 approval (GC) if the last VB shows 01 AUG, 2002?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I prefer the light one. But I'm with David C that if you had more depth of field in the second one, that may well make that one "better".

Your join date is March 2009. We know you are not a donor. We know you have not participated in any IV campaigns. But you want IV to be answerable to you.
Please tell us why!
Please feel free to delete my id.
I am done here. Wish good luck to everybody. Hope everyone gets GC soon.

my cousin (think immi.com handle gcapnekbohi ) got his masters 1.5 years ago from university of phoenix .. through online program.
Soon after he tried to interfile his eb3 app for eb2 and he is currently appealing his NOID... reason 'inequality of credit weights from online masters since they are not transferable'.
Anybody know of anyone who has successfully gotten through to eb2 using an online masters? please pm me..thanks in advance.
You should qualify for EB2. It doesn't matter even if it's online.

Remember you are bonded labor if you are on H1B or Work Permit. They will use you & your illegal brothers every election year and this is one of those years ..... everything is chatter until something heppens.
Don't get your hopes high.... just get your head down and work for them.
and what's the point of posting this twice...10 minutes apart? Those who will, will take your point! :)

I like the second shot a lot. Nicely done.
I think the third shot needs to be closer. There's a little too much negative space around the arrangement. Just my 2 cents.
The first shot....I'm not too sure about that one. Technically, it looks fine but it's not holding my attention.
One thing I've noticed about studio product shots is that the most difficult part is finding the props to support the atmoshere of the photo...and then arranging them in a pleasant fashion. I've still got a lot to learn in that department.

You are technically getting into the EAD track and not H1 track. There will not be any issues during adjudication, however make sure the new W2 work using EAD is similar to your job profile defined in the LC.
The only problem that may come(worst case scenario) is that if ever there is a mess up by USCIS on your case or your records are incorrect or if your case is rejected.....then you could become illegal, since u r on EAD. However, being in H1 and working for the desi consulting company...would be the safest bet, until you cross the GC bridge

I have been in USA Since 2003.
I started the GC process in 2004, started the process again, recaptured old PD. Was hoping to get GC this year when my PD was current for 2 months. Hope will get it this year.
After moving I saw lots of engineer, mostly software, seemed happy with jobs. Started doing some search and found that this is one of the least stressful jobs in US with great salary and growth potential. Thanks for the views guys, would like to know if can do MS with a bachelors in non engineering field.

Folks,
Due to the priority data transfer issue my I-485 application was rejected in June'08 (submitted based on June'08 visa bulletin).
As part of my application necessary medical exam tests were conducted in May'08. If I were to submit my application today based on the new visa bulletin do you think I need to take all medical exams again and re-submit? Won't the first set of medical exams have any validity?
Also, on the forums there is a talk about medical forms being changed? Can anyone confirm?
Thanks in advance for all your responses.
As I remember, the validity is one year.

What's happening now is diff from what you would like to / can do to change it? If you were being sarcastic to the OP, thats so weird. If you were serious about your comments, You gotta ask yourself "What the hell am I doing here"?
